Mangaluru: Proprietor of a decorator business found dead in a well at his residence on Tuesday and it is alleged that he might have committed suicide.

Jayaraj Shetty (43) of Pachanady is the deceased person. He was running the owner of Sambhram Decorators located at Car Street, Mangaluru.

The sources have said that he was at his redidence till Tuesday afternoon and suddenly went missing after evening 3 o’clock. No complaint was registered on his missing.

His family searched for him till Wednesday and they found his body floating inside the well.

Financial problems may be the reason behind taking this extreme step, said sources. But the exact reason behind the incident is not known yet.

Just two months ago he built his house at Pachanady and he was very much soft speaking person. He didn’t mingle with other much.

He is survived by his wife and a daughter.

Mangaluru rural police have registered a case.
