Udupi : A 4th standard student killed in a shocking incident by sixteen year old boy for a cricket playing dispute at Upladi in Kota of Kundapur taluk on January 11, Sunday.

The deseeded has been identified as Sughosh Adiga (9), the accused is identified as Jayadeva Adiga (16), has been taken into Police custody.

It is said, the both were left from the house at 3 pm on Saturday and after playing cricket they started quarrel. Jayadeva Adiga who studing in Xth standard was beaten him, with the staid injury Sughosh died soon after. Later his boy was found on January 11, Sunday late night.

Sughosha had lost his father just five months ago and his mother Revathi too is ailing. Sughosh’s elder brother is studies in first year PUC in Kota.

Udupi SP Annamalai arrived at the spot and investigated.

A case has been registered at Kota Police station.
