Bangalore:  Five BBMP councilors of Rajajinagar constituency have tendered their resignation to the BBMP  in support of law minister Suresh Kumar who has quit his post oer the complaint of irregularities in BDA site purchase.

The councilors who have quit are HS Padmaraj of Basaveshwarnagar ward, HR Krishnappa of Rajajinagar ward, Ravindranath of Prakashnagar ward, Ranganna of Kamashipalya ward  and Jayaratna of Ramamandira ward.

They have appealed to the CM  against  accepting the resignation and added if  he did so then even their resignation will have to be accepted.

Even BBMP Mayor D Venkateshamurthi met Suresh Kumar at his residence and requested him to withdraw his resignation.
