Udupi : Five persons were seriously injured in an accident involving two lorries and a bus  at Hanumanthnagar in Nittoor in the early hours of May 10, Thursday.

The bus named ‘Durgaprasad’ heading towards Mangalore from Kundapur  was hit by a lorry of Maharashtra registration from the rear. This lorry later  collided with another lorry from Tamil Nadu  leaving it out of control and then dashed  against a nearby compound wall. However not much damage has been reported.  The driver  of one of the lorries too has been injuring. All the injured have been admitted to hospitals.
