Mangalore : Less than average voting reported across all the segments of DK district except Kundapur and Mangalore North constituency. Even though people arrived to the polling booths in leisurely manner in the early hours of voting, brisk voting reported after 10pm. Again in the afternoon few people were seen in the polling booths waiting for the afternoon heat to subside by 3pm Mangalore North recorded 61% of voting and Mangalore South 52%. Belthangady is leading with 62% of votes and Sullia recording 43% of votes the lowest so far. Puttur recorded 53%, Bantwal 56%, Moodabidri 53% and Mangalore 58%.
Only 3 hours of voting left for the people to vote in this assembly election and 65% to 70% of voting is expected from this election by our Pollsters.
