Mangalore : It has been reliably learnt that the six notorious gangsters who were arrested by the CCB and DCIB police in Mangalore recently, had intended to kill Sri Rama Sene founder Pramod Mutalik, at the directions of Rasheed Malabari, a gangster who is in jail in Mangalore.

Reports say the six have divulged the above matter during interrogations. The six have been produced before court and remanded to judicial custody till December 26.

It may be recalled here that  police had seized a car, several SIMs, mobile phones, ATM cards as well as swords from the six persons who were arrested near Besant Complex. It is learnt, one of them, a nephew of Rasheed Malabari had even met Malabari in the prison.

Investigations are in progress.
