Mangalore: The aspirants, who have appeared for the Common Entrance Test from Mangalore and surrounding areas in the current academic year, participated at the counseling at Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, Adyar on July 7, Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, co ordinator Shuthakeerthi said that as much as 6000 aspirants from Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, parts of Uttara Kannada, Kodagu, some students from Kasargod and other places will participate in the counseling this year at Sahyadri College.
He also said that today the College will complete the counseling process for only 1600 aspirants.
Mangalore’s Ramachandra Upadhyaya from Poorna Prajna College of Udupi who has score 21st rank in engineering was the first aspirant to receive the seat at RV College, Bangalore.
