Bangalore: Former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa has moved the High Court seeking anticipatory bail in connection with the case of denotification of 4.20 acre of land at Benniganahalli.

TJ Abraham, a social worker had earlier moved the Lokayukta Special court against Yeddyurappa, MLA DK Shivakumar and several others on the charges of unlawfully purchasing land which the BDA had acquired for public purpose.

The hearing into the bail application of Yeddyurappa has been adjourned.

Yogeshwar petition dismissed: Meanwhile the High Court on Tuesday declined to cancel the warrant issued by the civil court against forest minister CP Yogeshwar in connection with the Megacity cheat in case.
