Mangalore : A total of 66.24% as been rigistered Urban local body poll held in DK district.

Meanwhile, there have been incident of verbal clashes in some ward in Mangalore Cities. Ullal and Surathkal and insident of Violation of poll code of conduct was also reported from  St Agnes polling booth.

Late in the afternoon some party worker’s objected when student of Unity institute arrived at the Badriya College polling booth in their institute vehicle. Though their names where found in list, still they where denied voting rights as they have violented rull by arriving together in a vehicle. There was heated of wards in Kudroli, Jodukere between Congress and JDS workers for Campaining near the polling booth.

At Ombattukere, Ullal Kotepura verbal clashes where reported between Congress BJP and JDS workers. There were also report of prosy voting the booth at Surathkal serveral voters  do arrived at a polling booth near Thokottu then Chembugudde had to riturned disappionted after their name not found in the voters list.

In another insident reported at Kulai a booth officers refused information to the Officer’s and Jurnalist.

As fort the arrest polling was peacefull. The polling  percentage is as follows Mangalore city- 53.33%, Ullal- 70.08%, Moodbidri- 73.84%,  Buntwal-76.09%, Puutur- 71.25%, Beltangady- 75.49%, Sulya- 80.10%.

In Udupi district polling percentage of  75.23% , Udupi city- 72.08%, Saligrama-77.53%, Kundapur-76.15%, Karkala-75.16%
