Bantwal : The teachers are visibly not pleased with the sixth standard Kannada text books.  The text book has lessons on cinema stars and also mistakes while referring to some dramas.

The text books have lessons on Jayamala, Kananda actress, P Sheshadri, film director and also  a lesson on Gunasagari Pandaribai authored by Jayamala. The entire lesson praises Pandaribai but has not mentioned at least one incident of her life.

There is a lesson which gives a brief summary of the film Beru of film director P Sheshadri. There are a lot of mistakes even in a drama  ;Krishna Sudhama printed in the text book. Then there is grammar galore for the  children and definitely students will have a  tough time learning Kannada lessons.
