Mangalore : Rotary Club of Baikampady team represented by Rtn. Prasad Prabhu and Rtn. Subhodh Kumar Das emerged as winners by scoring 70/100 points and claimed the prestigious Rotary Quiz Trophy at the “7th Annual Dist level Inter Club Rotary Quiz Competition” organized by Rotary Club of Mangalore Central as a part of their Rotary movement and awareness campaign held at Eden Aquatic and Sports Club, Mangalore on 05.04.2013. Rotary Club of Puttur East team represented by Rtn. Dr. Sooryanarayana and Rtn. Harish Putturaya secured the second prize by scoring 65/100 points.

Manipal based R.I.Dist.3180 Past Dist Governor Rtn. Dr. H. Shantharam was the chief guest on this occasion and presented the glittering trophy, cash prizes, merit certificates to the winners and runners-up and congratulated on their achievements.

Dist Governor Rtn. Dr. B. Devdas Rai was the quiz master and 08 teams from the district qualified for the final deciding round in the competition. Asst Governor Rtn. Sadashiva Shetty released the club bulletin on this occasion. President Rtn. Dr. Sureshchandra Shetty welcomed the gathering. Secretary Rtn. Anil Gonsalves presented the report. Later Rtn. Valerian D’sa proposed a vote of thanks.
