Beltangady : In a tragic incident near Ujire at Badanaje, a speeding motorcycle struck and fatally injured a young school student On Friday, October 27.

The victim, an 8-year-old girl named Ankita, was a third-grade student and the daughter of Ashoka and Jayashree.

The accident happened as she was attempting to cross the road. A formal case has been filed against the motorcycle rider at the Beltangady police station.
