Mangalore : Information department Minister PS Ajaz Ahmed said that a total of 844 people will travel to Hajj pilgrimage from Mangalore International Airport.
Speaking at the Hajj volunteers on August 12, Tuesday, he said that prior to the pilgrimage, the Hajj pilgrims will be trained in order to handle the problem being confronted while travelling. Apart from it, they will also be briefed on rules to be followed in Mecca and Madina and the guidelines for filing a complaint on loss of luggage.
He also said that, the department will hold training in Mangalore for two days. In order to avoid the inconvenience due to loss of luggage, the pilgrims should label their name and details on the luggages.
Meer Anees Ahmed, CEO of Karnataka Wakf Board also spoke on the occasion.
