Bantwal : Nine persons travelling in an autorickshaw sustained injuries when the vehicle overturned near SVS college on August 8, Thrsday.

The family of one Khateejamma was  travelling to a relative’s house on Eid-ul-Fitr Day when the accident took place. The auto was proceeding at great speed and overturned near a steep curve. The auto drive Ismail, passengers Khatijamma, Iddinabba, Yasid, Nazeem, Samsuddin, children Nasrat, Anisha and Shahid who are injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Mangalore. The condition of  Ismail and Khatijamma  are said to be critical.

Bantwal police have registered a case.
