Bangalore : As many as nine persons  including a journalist of an English daily in Bangalore, have been arrested in Bangalore and Hubli on the charges of having links with the banner terror outfit Indian Mujahideen.

The scribe named   Muthi-ur-Rahman Siddiqui, was reportedly arrested by Uttar Pradesh police and handed over to the Bangalore Police. Siddiqui hails from Hubli but stays in Bangalore. If four were arrested in Hubli, five were arrested from Bangalore.

Those arrested are being interrogated and more reports are awaited. It is suspected that they were arrested in connection with the blast outside Chinnaswamy Stadium in April 2010.
