Mangalore: Management guru and eminent speaker Shiv Khera has regretted the fact that 90 per cent of graduates in India are not employable due to poor quality of education.
Speaking to reporters prior to participating in a management session organized by the Rotary Mangalore Hill Side Charitable Trust at the Dr TMA Pai International Convention Centre on September 30, Sunday, he said the education imparted in schools and colleges in India cannot be called education in the true sense.
He was highly critical of the caste based reservation policy pursued in the nation and said it hampered development and would pose serious obstacles to the nation in the future. He said many teachers in government schools in the country are not qualified.
On the problems posed by illegal immigrants in India, he said the problem may reach such alarming proportions that if this was not checked then one day the nation may have see a Bangladeshi prime minister. He also said the number of Bangladeshis residing illegally in Assam and west Bengal, has been on the rise.
