Udupi :  State Urban Development Minister and Udupi in-charge Minister Vinaykumar Sorake  has said that the  government has a plan of eradicate slums and providing rehabilitation to its dwellers in the next five years.

He was speaking after inaugurating the Malaria Control Month programme held at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium  of the DC office complex on June 29, Saturday. HE also called upon the public and elected representatives to create awareness on Malaria and prevent the spread of the disease.

ZP Chief Upendra Nayak, Vice President Mamatha R Shetty, ZP Chief Executive Officer Prabhaker Sharma, Ramachandra Bairi, District Health Officer, Gokuldas Nayak, CMC Commissioner were also present.
