Mangalore : Mangalore South MLA JR Lobo inaugurated the Students Council of St Aloysius PU College at a function held at Loyola Hall of the College on July 1, Monday. Fr Elvis Lewis, Principal, administered the oath to the new office bearers of the Council.

Rahul Vas took charge as President of the Council, while Neil Rego is Vice President and Justine Danthi, the Secretary. Members of the Council were administered oath by Council President Rahul.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Lobo urged the student community to be leaders of tomorrow. He said educational institutions helps student to face life and its challenges courageously. He also stressed the need to channelize the youth power in the right direction.

Fr Lewis who also spoke said  it is good leaders who can help in the progress of the nation. He said  students should inculcates qualities of great leaders and be good leaders of tomorrow.

Rekha Alva, Vice Principal  welcomed the gathering.  Students of the institution actively participated in the programme.
