Kundapur : Rajashekhar Koti, Editor of Andolana daily of Mysore has urged journalists to not just be reporters, but be the voice of the weaker and downtrodden sections of the society.
He was speaking at the Patrika Din programmes organised by the Kundapur Taluk Working Journalists Association at Kundapur Junior College Kalamandira on July 1, Monday.
The main objective of the field of journalism is to be pro-people and contribute to the development of the society. He at the same time regretted the fact that journalistic field is today caught in the clutches of capitalists at some place.
