Mangalore : Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt and Sri Keshavananda Theertha Swamiji of Edneer Mutt inaugurated the Raghuramabhinandanam programme organised by the Raghuramabhinandanam Felicitation Committee at Town Hall on July 5. During the three day programme the achievements of veteran Yakshagana artiste Puttige Raghurama Holla will be reviewed.

Speaking on the occasion, the Pejawar seer said art enlivens mind and makes life meaningful. Dr M Mohan Alva, Chairman of Alva’s Education Foundation, released a volume on ‘Raghuramabhinandanam Sammana.’

ML Samaga, President of Yakshagana Bayalata Academy, presided over the function. The Edneer seer blessed the occasion. Bhagavatha  Puttige Raghurama Holla was also on the dais.

Harkrishna Punaroor, former Kannada Sahitya Parishat President,  Ujire Ashok Bhat, Editor of the Felicitation Volume, Saravu Krishna Bhat and others were on the dais.

Hiranya Venkateshwara Bhat compered the programme. Bhasker Rai Kukkuvalli welcomed and Ravi Alevooraya proposed the vote of thanks.
