Mangalore : The Ramadan fasting has begun in DK and Udupi districts on July 10, Wednesday following the sighting of the New Moon at Wayanad in Kerala on July 9, Tuesday. Due to the cloudy weather moon could not be sighted in the district.
The Qazis of both the districts have said Ramadan fasting will begin on Wednesday. In Udupi district, Moon was sighted at Navunda. The devout Muslims will observe fast from dawn to dusk during the holy month and have Iftar late in the evening.
