Kasargod :  A huge sea turtle measuring about 45 Kg was spotted at Kadappura beach here on July 25, Thursday. The nearly 35 year old endangered sea turtle  was found injuries.

Locals namely Fayaz, Ashraf and Azeez and a few others who rescued the sea turtle later informed the forest officials who took custody of the turtle. The officials said once the injuries of the turtle heal it will be released back into the sea. Until then it will be  handed over to a team  which protects sea turtles at Neeleshwar.
