Kundapur : Udupi Chikmagalur MP Jayaprakash Hegde has informed that the Mangalore-Madagaon Intercity train will operate from first week of December. The train services were announced in the railway budget.
The MP also stated that the train will have stops in Udupi, Suratkal,Bhatkal, Kumta, Karwar, Kanakona and Madagaon stations. It will leave Mangalore at 8.15 am and will reach Madagaon at 2 pm. It will depart Madagaon at 4.15 pm and reach Mangalore at 10 pm.
The MP also informed that the Bhatkal – Thokuru DMU train will begin services from December this year.
