Udupi : Gulam Mohammad, District JD(S) Working President has come up with a novel suggestion. He has requested Qazis of undivided DK to  temporarily ban eating of beef by Muslims.

In a press release, he also urged the Muslims to oppose cattle trafficking and cattle  thefts. Pointing out that cattle theft cases have led to a rise. He said cattle theft cases have also led to tension between people of different communities and urged the police department  to raid all illegal slaughter houses and  close them down.
