Mangalore : The Chief minister is incompetent to rule the state and killed the democracy, said B Janardhana Poojary, opposition leader.
Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on October 11, Monday, he said that today is the black day in the history of the state where the violation of constitutional law has been taken place and Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa is fully responsible for this he said.
The State government cannot run accordance with the constitution. He has turned the speaker K G Bopaiah as his puppet.
CM knew that he would not get the majority votes, by that time he should have given resignation because he had over confidence.
He said that trust vote won by Chief Minister B S Yeddyurppa was unethical and improper. Speaker of Karnataka Assembly disqualified 16 dissident MLAs and then held a voice vote to test the state government’s strength in the House. He should not have taken right to disqualify them.
The Governor has sent a message to chief minister and he has right to send it and it is not right on CM has no right to say it wrong, but it must be considered by the house and not by the speaker, he informed.
The governor has full right to advice CM and he has fulfilled his role to warn when the CM is not unable to lead the government.
If BS Yeddyurappa does not remain as the Chief Minister, the Karnataka government will not die and the people of the state will not become houseless.
The Speaker who is Coorgie is said to be the warrior has done the coward work. The CM was sure that the he will not win by Majority of votes hence he converted to majority through collusive, manipulative act perpetrated by the speaker.
If the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was confident of the numbers, there should have been proper division in the assembly. No political party has jurisdiction over Independent MLAs.
The BJP supporters are celebrating Vijayotsava but they are celebrating for the funeral of the Karanataka’s people. Political conscious is lacking today.
Suresh Ballal, Arun Coehlo and Harikrishna Bantwal were present.
