Mangalore : MLA of Mangalore South JR Lobo visited the  Fisheries Port of Mangalore on August 13, Tuesday along with Congress leaders and officials and held discussions on the measures to be taken to make things better at the port.

The MLA noticed that cleanliness was lacking with drainage overflowing. He also directed the authorities to maintain cleanliness.

Former mayor  K Ashraf,  Congress leaders Mohan Mendon, TK Sudhir, Ahmed Bawa Bajal, Sujan Rao, Asst Executive Engineer, Port and Fisheries, V K Shetty, MD, KFDC, Shantha Kumar, Joint Director, Coastal Belt Protection Board, Maheswar, Asst Director, Fisheries,Ganeshan, MCC Executive Engineer and others were present.
