Mangalore : One Sagar Gehlot from Pali in Rajasthan was arrested by the Police here with the help of Rajasthan police on charges of looting nearly 3.6 kg of gold worth Rs one crore. It is said Sagar who  worked as assistant of Hasmukh Kimraz, a Mumbai man who is in Mangalore and was in gold business.

On August 5, Hasmukh asked Sagar to keep 3.6 kg of gold collected from Bantwal in his house. However, Sagar had fled with the gold following which a complaint was lodged. Sagar who was in Rajasthan has been arrested and brought to Mangalore.

Bunder police are investigating.
