Mangalore : DK District in-charge Minister and State Minister for Forest and Ecology  B Ramanatha Rai   garlanded the portraits of former prime minister Late Rajiv Gandhi and former chief minister late Devaraj Urs  on the occasion of their birth anniversary at the District Congress office in Mangalore.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the two leaders have contributed immensely to the nation and the state. He said late prime minister Rajiv Gandhi  was a youth icon and the youth should  derive inspiration from him.

He also said the Congress was sure to win the bye-elections. Corporators Naveen D’Souza, Shashidhar Hegde, party leaders Ibrahim Kodijal, Ivan D’Souza, Suresh Ballal and others were present.
