Mangalore :  Fr Paschal Serrao, a parish priest of Varanasi Diocese died on August 20, Tuesday due to a heart failure. He was 68. He was last serving  the Fathima Matha Church, Mawaiya, Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.

His funeral will be held at the Cathedral of Varanasi on august 22.

Fr Paschal who hails from Moodbidri,  was ordained priest in 1987 at Varanasi. His five brothers are priests while his sister is a Nun with the Sisters of Charity.
