Mangalore : A variety of programmes will be organised to mark the 44th Sri Krishna Janmashtami and Mosaru Kudike Festival on August 29 at Kadri under the aegis of Sri Krishna Janma Mahotsava Samithi, Kadri.
Informing this to reporters here the office bearers of the Samithi said there will be Shree Krishna Dinashwamedha by ‘Havyasi Balaga’-Kadri from 8.30pm to 11.30 pm followed by Veshagala Kunitha.
On August 28 the idol of Lord Krishna will be brought in a procession to Gopalkrishna Mutt near Kadri Kambla. There will be bhajans from 8 pm by Members of Jayamaruthi Bhajana Mandir. There would be Mahapooja and prasadam distribution.
On August 29,. Procession will begin from the Gopalkrishna Mutt and end at Rajangana of Kadri Temple via Kadri Kambala and Mallikata.
The procession will have attr active features like tableaux, payattam Chende, Dandiya Dance, Kalladka dolls etc.
