Mangalore : Mangalore Police Commissioner Manish Karbikar  informed press persons that the police have been able to solve four crime cases and have been able to arrest seven persons apart from seizing valuables from them.

In the first instances, the police have arrested Sagar Gehlot, a youth from Rajasthan for looting 3 kg 44 grams of gold belonging to his employer  in Mangalore. He was arrested in Ahmedabad and jewellery weighing 3.402 kg and Rs 80,000 cash was seized from him.

In the second case, police arrested one Siddique from Ujire for cheating a woman by some idols purchased from a metal house after making her believe that they were antique idols. One Abdul Razak, another accused is missing. It is learnt, they sold seven idols for Rs 14 lakhs to a woman in Mangalore who complained when she came to know that she was cheated.
