Mangalore : Mangalore South Legislator JR Lobo inaugurated the footpath laying works from Bendur Vas Bakery Circle upto Bendur Cross on August 25, Sunday.

On this occasion, Lobo said top most priority is even to footpath works and also bus shelter construction as well as development of several markets which are in a bad state.

The footpath works at Bendur has been taken up at a cost of Rs 25 lakhs and it is expected to be completed at the earliest.

Fr Antony Serrao, Parish Priest of Bendur Church, Sabitha Misquith, corporator of the ward, Jayaprakash, City Corporation Engineer and others were present on the occasion.
