Bhatkal : Nearly 50 people travelling in a bus  were injured when the bus hit against a stationed lorry  near Shiroor-Bhatkal border on August 25,  Sunday.

The Durgamba bus carrying trainees of the Syndicate Institute of Bank Management, Manipal was returning from  a day long trip to Murdeshwar when the mishap took place. Most of the injured were from Rajasthan, Haryana, Bihar and other states. They were on way to Manipal when the accident took place. If 60 people were travelling by the bus another twenty two were travelling in another mini bus

The condition of four of them is said to be critical. The injured have been admitted to hospitals
