Mangalore : A court in Mangalore has proved charges against Rasheed Malbari, an aid of notorious don Chota Shakeel in connection with an illegal arms possession case. His punishment will be announced by the court on August 28. The judgement was given by the Second Additional District and Sessions Court in Mangalore.
He was arrested in Chattanchal of Kasargod in 2009 by the DCIB which was looking for him in the case of the murder of Shabbeer Khan Murad Khan Pathak, an aide of Chhota Rajan. Malbari is also an accused in the case of trying to kill Chhota Rajan in 2000.
He has several cases against him in various police stations and is also charged with conspiring to kill Ram Sene leader Pramod Mutalik and BJP leader Varun Gandhi.
