Bangalore : MLA M C Ashwath of Channapatna has decided to give away his position by submitting the resignation for the personal reason on Friday, October 15.
He said that, he has decided to resign owing to some personal reasons. Since he was personally disappointed and it is my independent decision, he said.
MLA also informed that said that he had not discussed the matter of resignation with JDS State President H D Kumaraswamy.
Ashwath had abstained from voting during the second trust vote on the floor of the Legislative Assembly on Thursday, thereby causing a one vote loss to the opposition camp.
Spokesperson of JDS party Y S V Dutta, said that BJP has played major role in making Ashwath resign. The Speakers office is being used as the BJP decides.
