Mangalore : Swamy Vivekananda 150th Birth Anniversary celebration committee will conduct ‘Bharat Jago Doud’ from Jyothi Circle to Central Maidan on September 11, Wednesday at 9.30 am.

Addressing the press meet held at Press Club on Sep 4, Wednesday divisional convener of the committee Ravindra P, said that, the Doud will be held with the theme ‘Bharatha Elali- Vishwavannecharisali’ to celebrate the victory day on Sep 11, when Vivekananda had delivered a speech in Chicago.

A total of 20,000 participants including students and general public are expected to participate in the event. Such kind of ‘Doud’ will be organized in Puttur, Udupi and Madikeri also, he said.

Committee members Advocate Suvrath Kumar, Harshavardhan and B Ramesh were present.
