Bantwal :  A case of suspicious death has been reported from Veerakambha in Bantwal on September 7, Saturday.

It is said the body of one Nagesh Poojari (42) was found in a drain in his farm close by the road at  Veerakambha on Saturday.

Locals who noticed the body informed the police. Meanwhile, it is also said that he had been to the farm to repair a blocked pipe and fell into the drain after he slipped. Police have registered a case of suspicious death and are investigating.
