Mangalore : Urban Development Minister Vinaykumar Sorake, Abhayachandra Jain, Minister for Youth Services and Fisheries were prominent among those felicitated on the occasion of the tenth Sarvajanika Ganeshotsava celebrations being held at Omkar Nagar Bunts Hostel on September 10, Tuesday.

Others felicitated were Gurukiran Shetty, renowned music director, Dr Indira Hegde, veteran writer, Deviprasad Shetty Kalladi, Convenor of Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari Prasaditha Yakshagana Mandali Nagaraj Shetty, former minister, KSM Masood, President of DK and Udupi District Muslim Central Committee, Rev. Fr Dennis D’Sa, PRO of Udupi Diocese and Dr Jeevandhar Ballal, Dharmadarshi of Kantavar Sri Kanteshwara Temple.

The function was presided over by Maladi Ajith Kumar Rai, Managing Trustee of the Pratishtana.Dr Shantharam Shetty, Dean of Nitte University, Dr Asha Jyothi Rai were among others present on the occasion.
