Mangalore : A programme was organised by the CITU in front of the DC office in Mangalore on September 12, Thursday to  rejoice over the passing of the Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending Bill, 2012 in the Lok Sabha

Vasanth Achari, CITU District General Secretary who addressed the gathering, recalled the movement launched by the CITU for the cause of the street vendors and hoped the new Act will ensure justice to them.

CITU district honorary president Sunil Kumar Bajal, president Mohammed Mustafa, DYFI leaders B K Imthiyaz, Yogish Jeppinamogaru, office-bearers Santhosh Balmatta, Hasanabba Bengre and several  others participated in the programme.
