Tempo plunged in two river killing mother and child
Mangalore, October 18: In an incident, a mother and her child was killed inhuring two others, when the mini goods tempo, plunged into near Netravati River Bridge in Ullal on October 18, Monday.
The deceased have been identified as the residence of Adyar Kannur, Zeenath (33) and her child Shahanaz (5).  Zeenath’s husband Mohammad Shareef (37), who was driving and second child Sadiq (3) were injured.
The accident took place around 4: 15 am, when they were back to their home from a relative’s home in Manjeshwara. They had also visited Ullal Dargah and offered prayers on the way, said Ullal police.
The bodies have been taken to Wenlock hospital but injured baby is given treatment at Unity Hospital in Mangalore. Regarding this, a case has been filed at Ullal police station.
