Mangalore : Three sixth standard students of NMPT Central School namely Varshini of Kavoor, Vishwaroopa of Suratkal and Rakshita of Kodikal, who went missing on October 7 afternoon, have been found at Hubli.
The girls had left school for home and were reported missing. Parents had launched a search and when they were not found a complaint was lodged with Panambur police.
Meanwhile, the girls had boarded a bus to Hubli. However some people in the bus on seeing the girls enquired them and then took them to the police station at Hubli after the bus reached Hubli. There the police realized that they had escaped fearing scolding for scoring low marks.
They are now being sent back to Mangalore.
