Mangalore : The Akila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad will organize ‘ Students Walk for Women Protection’ in Karnataka from October 23 as part of a nation wide campaign against rising cases of violence against women.
Ramesh K, State Secretary of ABVP who spoke to reporters here on October 18, Friday said during the campaign the ABVP will hand over a memorandum with 25 demands with regard to protection for women. He urged the government to see to it that the Sowjanya case was probed by CBI. He further sought an unbiased investigation into Akshatha murder case in Mangalore.
