Mangalore :  Custom officials of Mangalore seized gold weighing 457.050 gms of Rs. 14.62 lac at Mangalore International Airport on Saturday, October 26.

Mohammad Ashraf resident of  Hidayanath Nagar in Kasaragod, arrived from Dubai on Air India Express at 10 a.m Flight. He had concealed 303.85 grams gold in the handle of a Non-stick pan. Remaining gold was used in the turn-up piping and shaped like strips silver colour cover.

Mohammad Ashraf  has been arrested and taken into custody.
