Bantwal : Shenoy mam has he is well known among his friends admirers and general public of Konkani speaking people, Convened and conducted the first ever Vishwa Konkani Bhasha- Samskrthi Sammelan in December 19, 1995 after he had retired from Syndicate bank of Manipal. He constructed Rs.3 crore world Konkani centre in Shakthi Nagar in 2010.

He paid out crores of rupees to students of engineering and medicine , schools and colleges, with help of his friends and donors in recent years . Vaman mam has an endearing personality and a smiling face while going about in his business as president of World Konkani Center Office. Large number of people are expected to wish him many  happy returns.
