Mangalore : Mr. Sabheesh Kumar, Proprietor and Beju, Manager of the “ Garuda Security and Personnel Services”, have managed to run away to Kerala with funds of the agency collected from a large number of high sounding institutions such as KMC and Ocean Pearl Hotel, without paying the salaries of their staff members during the last 2 months, while such staff had worked for them for many years.
 
Vijay Kumar Bhat an employee since 4 years told the press that the employees of the agency had approached the police and concerned authorities regarding known payment of salaries and their consequent difficulties of lower middleclass and working class families they had.

Bhat informed that neither the Labour department nor the police department had listened to their distress calls or communications to save them from monetary shortage. The employees had no future as Security Guards for the time being, although some of them were assured of employment in some other agencies, but many others did not have even that chance.

Valerian Pinto (74) of Kadri and Thakur Lal of Mandhya Pradesh joined VK Bhat in relating their tails of sorrow and cheating at the hands of the Garuda proprietor and manager. There were many other employees in the Agency who had to beg for food without a job to do.

The local police of Pumpwell in Mangalore have has at not registered a single case against the absconding cheats who have not been trace all these days.
