New Delhi: Three interlocutors headed by an Editor Dileep Padgaonkar, are in Kashmir, to collect people’s opinions on Jammu-Kashmir, presently and will observe Kashmir Accession Day today in Srinagar.
BJP has declared that the Accession Day will be treated like Deepavali (Diwali) day when earthen oil lamps are lighted in hundreds in every Hindu locality, also in Jammu (where Pandits live in majority) and Kashmir where they have ancestral temples and houses, taken over by converted Hindus (to Islam) in a majority, stated Samsher Singh Manhas, BJP chief for the acceded state. The youth members of BJP will organise rallies and celebrate Kashmir Day of Accession, he added.
Those who participated in these programmes include National Panthers’ party, VHP, Shiv Sena, ABVP, Jammu state Morcha, Jammu Joint People’s Front, Dogra Liberation Front and All state Kashmir Pundits Conference, besides many other units.
The Accession Day is a victory Day for us and we light lamps everywhere to welcome Goddess of wealth and victory, stated legislator and JK National People’s party leader, president Balwant Singh Mankotia in Jammu on Monday.
