Kundapur: A habitual drunkard Chandra Achar (36) who had a wife and 2 children and a brother in law Vishwanath (19) at his residence in Kamalashile Eleberu Shalegudde in Kundapur taluk of Udupi district, met with his death when he quarreled with his family members and took out a knife to injure his brother in law Vishwanath (19) at home on Monday. Vishwanath retaliated with another knife hitting Achar on the back, and Achar died due to loss of blood later on.

The Shankaranarayana station policemen have filed a criminal case against to Vishwanath for stabbing Chandra Achar in a heated movement, and the police have arrested him to proceed with the case of attack and murder of the deceased on Tuesday.
