Mangalore: Adoor B Ibrahim has taken over the charge of Deputy Commissioner of DK district by signing a register to the effect and receiving floral welcome from ADC, K. Dayanand, on Thursday Dec.26 in the presence of several officials of his department.

He replaces N prakash IAS who was posted as Labor Commissioner in Bangalore before Christmas Day. Talking to press persons Ibrahim promised to do his at most as a responsible person in handling serious and heavy duties in the larger interests of the people, on the guidance of district in-charge minister B.R. Rai. He hoped he will have ample discussions with his colleagues before taking suitable decisions in the development of D K and ensuring justice to all citizens during his tenure.

Ajith Kumar Hegde, MCC commisioner, Dr Prashanth, assistant commissioner, Mohan Rao, tahsildar and others were present at the ceremonial welcome given to new DC Ibrahim.
