Mangalore: On the silver jubilee year of Sri Odiyur Samsthan and Math, Swami Gurudevananda has invited all Tulu people to pull the Chariot of Tulu Nad Jatha on Jan.5 afternoon at 2 pm at Jyoti Circle and to move in a grand procession awards Nehru Maidan, where he will bless the occasion and the people at large.

Dharmadhikari Dr. D Veerendra Heggade will preside over the function to be held at the Nehru Maidan. Dr, Kalladka Prabhakar Bhatt of RSS will lead a band of dignitaries consisting of ministers B Ramanath Rai, Vinay Kumar Sorake, U T Khader, Abhayachandra Jain, former CM D V S Gowda, MPs Jayaprakash Hegde and Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLAs S Angara, Vasanth Bangera, Smt. Shakuntala Shetty, Pramod Madhvaraj, Moideen Bawa, J R Lobo, MLCs K. Ganesh Karnik (Capt), K Monappa Bhandary, Kerala legislators P B Abdul Razak, N A Nellikunnu and a host of others are expected to participate in pulling Tulu Nad Teru.

The 82 year old Pejewar Swamiji Vishwesha Thirtha will inaugurate the Gurudeva Datta silver jubilee celebrations at a pandal erected at Nehru Maidan, around 5 pm.
