Kaup : Vasanth Salian, former MLA has resigned from JD (S). He sent his resignation letter to party leaders.

Udupi JD(S) district president Deviprasad Shetty neglecting him so he decided to quit from the party, sources said. The resignation later has already been sent to party supremo Deve Gowda.

In a latest movement,  Shobha Karandlaje Udupi-Chikmagalur BJP candidate has met Salian. Within two days Salian is likely to announce the name of the party which he will be joining.
